Ants are social insects that are easily identified by their distinctive node-like bodies and elbowed antennae. There are currently about 3000 species of ants known to live in Australia. They usually build their nests amongst rocks, or in soil or in wood. They can be commonly observed crawling along foundations and in walls, kitchens, roof voids and gardens

Bed Bugs are tiny, parasitic insects that survive by drinking blood. Bed bugs are most active during the night-time, however they can also sometimes feed during the day.
